You will find more and more fish products provided with a QR-code. Simply scan the QR-code with the Fishtory app and it will give you information about species, the fishing ground, the vessel and the certification. If the QR-code isn't available, enter the 12 digit code on this website.

How the fish is caught

Fishtory gives you information how and where the fish is caught, the processing and the preservation of the fish and the fishermens certification. Use this map to find out more about the fishing grounds.

Scan the QR-code

Download the app from the Apple or Android store. After the install, open fishtory and just scan the QR code on the fish product package . If the QR-code is recognized, you will see all the information available.
